thanks for your help!

Its very cheap, easy and fast to travel by bus be it "ordinary" bus or www.ticabus.
Just start one end,Panama or Mex,pick a destination and away you go!!!!!!!!!
I done the complete trip this year and all I did was jump on a bus appox 0800 and jump off appox 1200,max 4hrs on a bus at any time.
OK,sometimes I did'nt do my homework correctly but most of the time it was "that easy" from public central town bus stations to the place where I jumped off.
It was a trip in a million and you meet lots of travellers on the road.
Ticabus is a bit more organised and I did not use them but its up to oneself.
Enjoy your travels and have a great trip.

Thanks for your help,
But another question, where did you sleep? is it necessary to make a reservation? Was it easy to find cheap places, or campsites?

Hi Peen and Rena
It was very easy and cheap to find accomodation as Central America is packed full of Hostels in every country and you dont need reservations.
I did not use Hostels but had Lonely Planet Central America and just used cheap en-suite Budget Hotel rooms as traveling on the bus I would read LP,knew where it would stop, jumped off, walked to the Hotel, had a look, paid for room, dumped my shoulder bag and out exploring or beachbuming within 30mins-1hr as to be truthful you are never in the room only to shower and sleep!!!!!!!.
Only pay for 1 night at a time no matter where you are as if you dont like it or see somewhere else just move next day.
Further info at links, accommodation, destinations at top of page.
Dont worry after a few days on the road you become very expert.
Have a great trip and any help just ask.
