winter weather??

no winter in south-east-asia dearest.. that's what i can tell you for thailand and phillipines..

some parts of S.E.Asia....month november and december would be scorching hot... and humid as well...

at night... it will be pretty cold.. depending on where you will be... :)

while some spots would be facing monsoon... raining heavily. :)

so... in other words.. TROpICal All YeaR Round!

sweater and jacket or windbreakers are good... dun need coats! :P
ponchos or small lightweight umbrellas come in handy!

Hi Zach,

The weather in South-East Asia countries are pretty much the same the whole year, as we are at the equator. No four seasons, just one hot season all year round. For example, at night the temperature can go as low as 20 degrees Celsius in Bangkok, while daytime temperature can reach as high as 34 degrees Celsius in Kuala Lumpur. So don't bring your winter clothes here!

Check out the monthly average for the main cities in South-East Asia.

Bangkok
Ho Chi Minh City
Jakarta
Kuala Lumpur
Manila
Singapore

BTW, the "pretty cold" that toothache mentioned above is by our standards, not those winter cold that you experienced in the northern hemisphere.

Thailand and the Philippines are warm all year long! A little like Puerto Rico or Miami, except for the elephants and soi dogs. A little more rain every now and then, slightly hotter and drier other times of the year.

When the temperature drops to around 60 degrees up around Chiangmai some nights the locals break out the winter jackets and knit caps! That's winter for them!
