Hey S&P&S!

Hey S&P&S! ...

What about H??? He's a moderator for ST you know!

Well, I tried the search and advance search. No problems.

BTW, what was that you were searching for?

The keyword could be causing the error.

Weird, I didn't get an email of the error as I would be supposed to. Supposedly the site was down briefly this morning as well.. or so I'm told. Perhaps a momentary overload. Not that that is a good thing!

Yeah, what was the term you were looking for Gretchen. The error is related to that, but for some reason my error message isn't showing me the term like it used to for these things.

You see! One more thing broken because of you, Gretchen!

Hey S&P&S&H!!!

Does that make you feel better Hien?? Boy, Mad Moderators can be so tempermental when they don't get to attend the really fun meet-ups!!

I typed in the complete name of the thread: How many TP members have you met??

I typed it in with and without the question marks. I knew the exact name of the thread, just couldn't remember which forum it was in (GT or OT) and didn't want to go back 20 pages in each forum searching by hand. Did I overload it with words???

I did find the thread somewhere around page 24 of OT - after going page by page by page.

What did I do wrong?????

As a side question that has nothing to do with the search function...
When I hit "reply" and type my response, I can add emoticons to my comments. If I hit "preview" and edit my response, the system won't let me add any more emoticons using the buttons. I have to type them in manually. Has this issue been addressed before and I just missed it? Or, is this something only affecting Macs with Tiger and using Safari?

Thanks again!

Oh, I did the search for the thread with both the basic search function in each forum and as an advanced search for all forums within the last 6 months. All of the searches gave me the same error message.

Yeah, yeah, another one bites the dust and it's all my fault!!! Be nice to me Hien, or I'll come over and visit your forums and see how fast they crash!!!

Can't blame me. You could not imagine the stress and pressure I had to bear alone all weekend while all of you were there having fun!

Ok, I've done some tests there. It's the word "many" that crashed it.
Try searching for "many" and you'll get that error.

It's not your fault this time. It affects IE too. You just coulnd't add smiley after you previewed it. But this bug appears only in forums. The message centre is ok though!
