Hallo,

I've been in the States a short time and now have a work assignment in Vegas for 10 days - I'm staying at the Venetian first time, and in Nov at Mandalay Bay. I'm just wondering - are there any great buffets close-by. That are cheap!!! I'm on a budget.. Vegas - I'm sure it will be quite the adventure!

Thanks,
Tam.

Do you have a car? Where you are staying there are good buffets, but not cheap. I liked the MGM grand buffet, but it's 20 or so bucks if I recall.

For cheap, you need to go off the strip. Either downtown, or check out the casinos out in the middle of nowhere (it's not as bad as it sounds, just 10 minutes off the strip is the middle of nowhere). I liked the Station casinos (Texas Station and the like) for cheap eats.

Also, there is a place called Big Mama's Rib Shack 2230 W Bonanza Rd, Las Vegas, NV at Rancho which is good. It's not a buffet, but you get a good amount of food for a small price.

There are no cheap buffets on the Strip. Try Sam's Town or one of the Station Casinos for a good buffet at a reasonable price. They also have shuttle buses if you do not have transportation. Arizona Charlie's is also a possibily, but you need a car. PM me if you have questions.
