Hello all,

I am not a well travel individual and would appreciate the knowledge from those on here.

My brother-in-law won a trip to travel anywhere in the world for 7 days with 7 friends. This will be the trip of a life time!

We are in the process of researching places that will be interesting to visit. We are thinking of visiting as many places as possible so we can get a glimpse of the various part of the world. Having said that, we do not wish to be in the air for too long. We only got 7 days after all and we would rather concentrate on a portion of one continent and go from there.

We are thinking of Africa. I know a week isn't much time to visit a huge continent as Africa but we would like to get a highlight of part of the continent. Where in Africa would you visit and what is there to do there?

If not Africa, where in the world would you like to visit and what is there to do there?

We do have access to a private jet with 40 hours of flight time and hotels are prepaid for us.

So I would greatly appreciate your input. So imagine, if you won a trip to take 7 friends anywhere in the world, where would you go? ;)

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Cheerio,

Chi.

If you're going to Africa I would say east africa, you can go on safari, see the gorillas, etc. HOWEVER, Africa is CHEAP, you can easily do that on your own with a small budget, I would personally probably go somewhere I wouldn't be able to afford on my own...

ENJOY!!

PS. Don't forget in Africa it will also take a LOT of time just to get around (bad roads, etc.) so you'll spend a lot of time moving.

Thanks GlobalGirl for the feedback.

Good point about the price.

Where would you go instead?

Cheers,

Chi.

So you've won a trip and have saved a small fortune in flights, If your not in a hurry why not save up so you don't have to go somewhere so cheap and so you can enjoy it more!

How did you win such a competition? any pointers where I can enter such a valuable comp?

I'd like to know where to sign up too. Forty hours of private jet time and comped hotels sounds too good to be true. There also seems to be quite a number of award won trips lately...

This thread was flagged as promotional spam. I have removed the flag because you have not violated any of the rules, other than posting a personal e-mail address, and other's have already replied to your request for information. Promotional postings are not allowed in the forums. I would like to believe that your request is genuine and that your brother-in-law was just that lucky.

How about South America? Shorter flight times and lots to see.

Hi Isadora,

This is indeed a true story. I am not sure of the rule here so I apologize if this seems like spam but it is really not.

Am I allow to name the company that my brother-in-law won? Or provide a link? If not, how can I prove to people that he did indeed won the grande prize. Can people private message me and I provide them the link? Please let me know how I should handle this.

Imagine how I felt when my sister first told me of the news! I too didn't believe her since it was too good to be true, but it is.

So please, getting back on topic I would appreciate any feedbacks of places to visit.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Chi.

Hi JackFlash,

We need to send in our itineray to the company by the end of October for processing.

What did you mean by to saved up?

All flight are prepaid from the company as well as hotel. The private jet is allow to be used within a continent but to travel from one continent to another, we take a commercial flight. So I was just curious to know what are people thoughts on places to visit if they were in my shoe.

Thanks.

Cheers,

Chi.

what about australia - far from Canada (would be expensive), vast (good for your jet) and expensive (in comparison to Africa).

On top of it - around xmas they have the middle of the summer, which is nice

I would recommend that anyone interested in the details about the company send you a PM. Though you have said this is not spam, the posting of the company's name and/or link will once again come under scrutiny. Please send me a PM with the information. I would appreciate having the ability to look at the company's site before commenting further. Thank you.
