We have just returned from afrika with my husband and two daughters.
Hiking was great for both mountain(Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro)Mount kenya is very beautiful compared to kilimanjaro, its have v chaped vally. Our guide was well informed about the mountain,flora and fauna which we came across.
Mount Kenya have also beautiful ,crater lakes .We made it to the summit lenana 4850m ,me and 2 doughters .My husband climbed batian and made it 5199m.
Kilimanjaro was also great ,we did machame mweka route , we all made it to the summit ,since we had a good acclimatisation from mount kenya . We had good time with our guide.The food was amazing and we forgotten the cold wether on both mountain.
We were treated like kings and queens.The poters werer great and every evening we had nice songs of Kenya Jambo hakuna matata which means no problem in Kenya.

Hi Member,
Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda are made Under East African Community.
Am glad that you visited Africa and appreciate the beauty.
Example Mount Kilimanjaro & Kenya are metaphor of East Africa.
Other Mountains you can climb in East Africa are Mount Rwenzori in Western Uganda, Mount Meru in Arusha National Park, Mount Oldonyo LEngai( Mountain of God) near Lake Natron ( famous and being the flaming breeding area), Oldonyo Lengai have Active Volcano.

Also in East Africa there are most fascinating Walking/trekking Safaris. These Safaris exposes opportunities for Bird Watching, e.t.c.

This cummulatively is termed as Eco Tourism in some extent.

So From your Visit, to Kenya and Tanzania you are a good Ambassador of ours to Other Visitors.

So Please Visitors plannin to come Africa, Think about Tanzania and KEnya.
