I would take the overnight bus to KL from Singers. You save one nights accomodation and arrive in the morning, ready to go. Get the 24 seat VIP bus, comfortable and affordable.

some budget airlines are

Air Asia
JetStar Asia
ValuAir
Tiger Airways

But I suggest taking the bus is the best and cheapest way... though.. its gonna take abt 5 hrs... if u don't mind.. :)

dear Reltn,
yes the best way to travel up from S'pore to Kuala Lumpur is via bus! i dont know how long is the trip maybe itll be less than 5 hours ride. dont worry bout the road as youll be on a 4 lane highway up untill KL. As the fare , from what i know is the the VIP coaches would be around $MYR65-70(malaysian ringgit) if your on a budget the normal coaches will be around rm40-50. and dont worry theres alot of buses to KL and the schdedule is almost daily!

if your going via plane might not be a good idea. cause itll cost you time and money from KLIA (kuala lumpur international airport) to the city. the cab fare would be at more than $MYR70 and itll take u at least
more than 1/2 hour / the KL transit train will cost u $MYR35 and takes 40mins to the city. so safe choice will be via bus. which will take u directly to the heart of Kuala Lumpur City. so enjoy your trip!

p/s im planning a trip to Thailand's KOH PHANGAN island for the Full Moon Party this December (http://fullmoonparty-thailand.com/). so far its only me and my gf. tell me if youre intrested to join us!

It's the raining season now (not for the whole day)...agree on taking the bus if you do not mind the longer time for you to arrive

Bon voyage;)

Hi,

If you are flying into Singapore, why not take bus 170 or trans island shuttle bus to Larkin bus terminal (Johor Baru), and then book ticket from JB-KL (Superia or Seri Maju)...so much cheaper. Imagine the bus from Spore-KL is about S$24, while from JB-KL is MYR24..u pay more than double from Singapore!

FYI, the KLIA Express train takes only 28 minutes to reach KL Central station at the city centre.

The 40 minutes KLIA Transit train that [fruity] mentioned above makes two stops in between KLIA and KL Central Station.

i really just wanna know what to do before i go, i mean i have 7 days in singapore before i fly out again... i figured that i would g up to malaysia with the misses to have a look, going to book a hotel in malaysia (kulua lumpa) so i was wondering about how to get there... i dont really want to get stranded or spend a heap of time travlelling... also... when it comes to immigration s it a hassle going from singapore to malaysia, i am an sustralian and have an australian passport..
