(Lake Superior - snorkeling a wreck

LOL

Hope that was a Scuba certified Snorkel there Isa

Not this one - there were only 2 of us and it was only 50 feet from the shore and only the ribs of an old ship (very early 1800s) that had sunk in 15 feet of water when the pier and all ships moored there burned. It was still pretty cool though!! ;)

Skinny dipping is always a bit of a laugh after a few drinks. I've done it in Switzerland, in Cornwall and in Greece. Nothing wrong with it at all and you do get a sense of liberty! Its all in the name of fun! Just like streaking!

Mind you, have once or twice accidently strolled onto nudist beaches and must say that I don't fancy that much though.

Still need to fulfill my ambition of streaking across the pitch at a World Cup Footie final!!!!!!!

Guilty. Lake Wanaka, New Zealand. Handy that, having a lake just outside the pubs.

Skinny Dipping??? Its the ONLY way to dip. Plain and simple... that's it. I HATE wearing any clothing on a beach. Its GHASTLY! Sweaty and orrible! Yuk!

OK, I admit to a touch of vanity... but let's face it, why on earth does anyone spend hours and days cultivating a nice golden tan, only to end up with a stupid white arse in the middle of it????? Could never understand that at all.

But, on a slightly more sober note, as much as I feel naked is the only way to be on a beach, in the water, in the forest etc, I would hate to cause discomfort and offence. So, if I'm ever in doubt, I just find someone to ask first. Thankfully, less and less people seem to bat an eyelid at simple outdoor nakedness. And the less the better, if you'll excuse the pun.

Oh, and Fia, if all goes without a problem, I'll be living in Sweden after December. How about getting a party going!???

Have fun everyone xxxxx

Skinny dipping is fun! :) But I have to disagree with Isa...Lake Superior is just too damn cold for skinny dipping! Even in the middle of August!

Isa pages back to look at her responses... Nope... Don't see any comment that Lake Superior was warm...

It was damn cold, and the middle of September. But, I enjoyed the experience dispite the chill, though now that I have no thermal-regulation, I think I will skip it the next time around. Maybe it'll depend on who is with me and will keep me warm afterward. ;)

Does it make any difference if you put a non-naked part into that damn cold lake?

Might depend on the non-naked part... But, I can't think of any at the moment - that would make a difference, this is.
