I haven't been, but Ocho Rio or Negril in Jamaica might fit your bill as well.
I have been to both - Ocho Rios and Negril.
Negril will be more to your liking than Ocho Rios. Negril is west of and about an hour away from Montego Bay. It is known for it's "Seven-Mile Beach" and is a favorite for vacationers in their 20s and 30s. It caters more to singles than does Ocho Rios. The beach is also the "major foot-traffic thoroughfare". Because of it's location, Negril has more parasailing available but if you dive or snorkel - the boat ride will be a bit longer out to sites. Negril has very good local eateries and you can eat at the restaurants in many of the all inclusive hotels too - without being a guest. Big draws for finding "liberal women" would be the beach around Hedonism II resort. Nude and semi-nude sunbathing is more accepted in Negril. When on the beach, you will be approached by people selling an assortment of things - from fresh aloe to cigarettes to ganja. Be careful if you choose to buy the latter, as Jamaican undercover officers have been stepping up the enforcement of the laws in recent years. No, marijauna is not legal in Jamaica. Cheap accommodations can be had in Negril - close to, if not on, the beach.
Ocho Rios does have Dunns River Falls - a big tourist attraction where you can climb the falls. It is also the docking point for several of the cruise ships (as is Montego Bay). You will find more families and couples in Ocho Rios. The hotels in that area do cater more to the wedding/ honeymoon crowds. Diving sites are a bit closer - but not enough to rule out Negril. Ocho Rios is east of and about (again) an hour from Montego Bay. Ocho Rios does not have the beaches that Negril has - hotels can fence off their section of beach there, something they can not do in Negril. Cheap accomodations can be found, but not close to the beaches. The hotels have done a good job of securing those for themselves.
Hope this helps!
