I was wondering if anyone would know of a relativly cheap place to leave a laptop(or similar) in London for 3-4 days. Is it possible to leave such things for example at a train station or airport? Do they have deposit boxes? How much does it usually cost?
Waterloo Railway (mainline/tube/eurostar) Station has a left luggage section between platforms 11 and 12,open all day until 2300.

Its very cheap and safe and you can leave things for 4 weeks.
I would reckon most mainline London railway stations have a left luggage section.

Yeah, Victoria station and Paddington station have them too!
I prefer the victoria station one though as it seems a lot more secure!
You can leave your stuff at Heathrow too (think its in Terminal three). But still prefer Victoria station left luggae lockers!
Could you tell me why you think Victoria is safest ?
Thanks a lot!
Victoria station has actual lockers that you put your luggage in (many of the others just have storage rooms that the staff have access to!). You have to go through a scanner and your luggage goes through an x-ray machine and then you can store your things in a locker (I seem to remember you get a pass code for it) so you can grab your things whenever you want to.
The luggage at the airports and in Paddington are all just kept in one big room on shelves.
However, I'm not sure how expensive the Victoria one is nowadays!
You might also want to try luggageminder.com. They do pick ups from/deliveries to hotels. They charge £2 for the first bag then £1 for each additional. Collection/delivery costs £12.50. When you work out the pricing, even with the collection/delivery charge it works out cheaper than left luggage over the course of one week. They also have a laundry service. Good luck!
