I've got three weeks in India in the begining of november - flying into Chennai, working my way down to Pondicherry and back up.
I know its 'wet season' at this time of year, but how wet are we talking? Will I still be able to do a lot? Will sight seeing/going to the beach etc. still be possible? I've heard it only rains for about half an hour every day - is this true?
I've looked at average weather conditions, but its quite hard to imagine what it will be like from average rainfall in mm's!
hi I am from Pondicherry! It is the wet season but it doesnt rain quite often. You would be able to see all the places. I doesn't rain that often in this part of the country. It rains continuously only if there is a depression or cyclone. Since you have enough time I am pretty sure you would be able to visit every place you wish too. If you need any practical details mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you! Perfect reply! Just what I was hoping to hear!
It dosn't rain very often in winters in INDIA. But still there will be some rain in the costal part of southern India. these rains are typically splashes of evening rains. Rest of the country there won't be any rain.
