Quoting Lai

i havent had a similar experience, and i really have no idea what its like cuase im just 18, buuuuut.....

if you feel its right for you, thats that. a job nothing, long run, just a means to an end. an experience like the one your talking about is far worth the slight risk in quitting. as for your hubby, well, im not going to talk like i know what to do, but, you gotta do whats right for you, and he should let you, just like you would let him. it doesnt matter if its practical or not, this is what you need, you know that. so find a way to make it work

i would say do what you gotta do to make it work. if this means something to you, you gotta find a way.

may the wind be at your back

Thanks Evan. I did my 40 day euro trip when I was 20. It was great. I was a student with less responsiblity. I told my husband about my dream, he is ok with it, but does not agree with my idea... I get more inspiration from the other TP members, just need more gust to make it happens, wish me luck!

I am also employed with quite a good career going, just met a new boyfriend 2 months ago, 30 years old, great apartment and all that, but I really want to do my RTW-trip anyway and decided during the Summer that I'm actually going. So I've cut most expenses and keep on saving and saving and am now shopping around for the best ticket.

I definitely think you should go, otherwise you will regret it if you don't! You never regret the things you do, just the things you did not do...

Good Luck!
