Hola,

I am interested in spending New Years this year in Costa Rica at Playa Tamarindo, but all the accomodation websites dont seem to be working to well and i cant tell whether everything is booked out, or if the sites just arent working properly (you know what online accomodations booking sites are like).

anyway, i was wondering if anyone knew of any hotels, hostels, pensions, campsites that i can check out directly through their own website, or can email or call to check availability.

OR, if anyone already going there can recommend a place????

i figure they cant all be booked out, but none of the website i have tried will give me a set answer.

PLEASE HELP

Costa Rica was a great place to see and travel but I stayed Playa del Coca.
I have a website for a Hostel for Playa Tamarindo with good cheap rates and another for Hotels but rates are high!!!!.
1)12$ dorm at www.labotelladeleche.com
2)40$ room at www.smoothound.com
or what about doing a google;accomodation playa tamarindo
Have a great New Year and enjoy Costa Rica.

HI Im a Costarrican and would like to help you out. If you are a surfer then I wouldnt recomend you playas del coco, and Tamarindo is nicer. There are plenty of hotels in Tamarindo. I stayed in a really nice one called Barcelo Playa Langosta, but it might be expensive. It includes meals, though. And I found more options: www.labotelladeleche.com thats a hostel.
If you would like to take a look at a nice beach.. dont miss playa conchal. Its beautiful! If you have more questions, you can write me: roccarva@hotmail.com
Have a great trip in Costa Rica!

Hi Alex
Tamarindo seems the more lively of the two but I had a great time on Playa Coco beach and jumped pickups on the main road to the other beaches nearby which where Playa Hermosa and Play Panama and everywhere was very friendly Costa chicas.
Not New Year and not a great!!!!!!!!!!!!!night life but life is what you make it!!
Roccarava will help you so hit de road mon.
