Avoid routines. They are the death of excitement, and the parents of bordem.

I find "not [worring] about the future" to be a major aspect to the apathy flooding the world. But you didn't hear it from me..

Quoting Brendan

I find "not [worring] about the future" to be a major aspect to the apathy flooding the world. But you didn't hear it from me..

I am thinking that the statement was relative to the other posts in the forum more than a general apathy for the future of the world.:) I'll say this because I am sitting right smack dab in the middle of the fence seperating those two posts.

well theres a difference between worrying and doing something. its slight, but there. it seems one in the same, but truly worrying is just an emotion of fear of the unkown, apathy is a lack of action taken against something that should be done. i do me best not to worry about the future, but at any idea or chance i get to do good for the world no matter what the scale i would do it. i dont know if that came out right. whatever
so there, whoever i heard this from

It came out very right, Evan! I wanted to state that I try not worry about my personal future (e.g. finding a job, relationships, etc.)and this doesn´t mean that I don´t care about the rest of the world. Curious to see how my post gets interpreted this time...

I agree with that. I see my Mum, she worries about everything and it gets her nowhere. She stresses herself out about the most insignificant things, and what's the point? There's very little we can control anyway.

By not constantly thinking about the future, it's easier to live in the moment. :)
