I agree with Evan about the not letting fear get in the way of life.
I'd like to add:
fear is there to make sure you dont huck yourself off a cliff
Well, not exactly. Fear is what makes hucking yourself off a cliff so much fun. I'm not talking about random suicidal tendancies; rather skiing, bungee jumping, sky diving, etc. Oh yeah, my one thing, remember to breath. Life is what happens in between your first and last breath, and it's up to you as to what to make of that time.
hahah i guess i meant that fear is the natural instinct to help survival. danger is fun! im all about dangerous things, ah well you know what i mean. whatever tickles your pickle.
whatever tickles your pickle.
Hahaha... that's a new one to me.
Yeah, I figured that Evan, which is why I was agreeing with the rest of what you were saying. I suppose if fear didn't exist though, you'd be just like Bill Murray in Groundhog's Day, just walking in front of cars and jumping from belltowers and stuff like that. I think cheating death or injury is the fun part; death itself, probably not so much fun.
Sorry - bungee jumping and sky diving are not my thing (though I have thought long and hard about sky diving) - I have a horrid fear of heights. But, I agree with fear being a great motivator. Fear has allowedme to do things I never thought I would do. It has also taught me how precious life is, and I appreciate fear for just that reason. I don't want to be Bill Murray in Groundhog's Day, but I also do not have a problem with fear anymore. I know I will deal with it the best way I possibly can - painful or not...
Sorry - didn't mean to go sooooo off topic there...
nooo problem Isa im happy to hear your side of it. ^^

I would say don't change yourself for anything or anybody.. You will just end up feeling worse.
