Hi
I would advise you go to London and you will get a job very easy and with your skills from the USA you could strike very lucky.
After setting yourselve up then you might jump a cheapie flight to Copenhagen for a week just to see whats on offer and take it from their.

I don't know what you changes are to get a job in Copenhagen.
But people in Denmark speak verry good english so don't expect to much problems comunicating.

I don't think it is easy nor impossible to get a job in Copenhagen
without speaking danish. Why don't you try to write to some of the
hotels there and offering yourself for a job - that is send a
job-application. Some of them will probably not even answer, but I
think it will give you a feeling for whether there is a job-market for
you or not. (I remember I once got a job in London that way).

You'll get a job more easily in London as the hostels are always looking for staff. However if you genuinely have the choice then its got to be Copenhagen. Denmark is wonderful and the air is so much cleaner than smoggy London.
