Depending on your time scale I would suggest taking a bus up to Bangkok travelling appox 4hrs each day,(0800-1200),jumping of and exploring for that day then bus next morning.
Have a few days in Khao San Rd exploring Bangkok then bus,(as above) down the coast to Cambodia, cross border, jump a boat and stay a day or two in Sihanoukville beach,(get your Vietnam Visa here) and then minibus to Phomn Penh for 2days then boat down the Mecong River to Vietnam and Saigon and explore Saigon.
Go back the same way to Phomn Penh and then a minibus up the dusty rd to Angor Wat to see the ruins then minibus to Poipet, cowboy gun town on Thai border for a day then cross border and back to Bangkok then Phuket then Malayia.
Check links, destinations at top of page for lots of good info.
Lonely Planet South East Asia is a great book for your travels and have a good time on the road.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. My plan is for about 10-12 days. And yes,I prefer your way,but actually I wanna go to Kunming,China as one my destination. So do you have any good idea about this? And,of course I wanna use about US$300 for this trip for two ppl.Is it possible?

Waiting for your reply.

I do not believe 10-12 days is enough time to travel overland to China and back, you will have to fly.
If you fly 300$US will not be enough for two but check out cheap Singapore airlines, tiger something!!!!
You could try and find the nearest Airport to China and then catch a longdistance bus but I dont know where you want to fly too be it Chiang Mai or Hanoi!!,Hanoi might be the best.
Sorry I cannot be of more help, have a good trip.

Hi,now i have two plans to go:
1.Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Hanoi-Kun Ming-Ho Chi Minh City-Phnom Penh-Kuala Lumpur
2.Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok-Phnom Penh-Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi-Kun Ming-Hanoi-Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur

In the first way,I prefer to take airplane on Phnom Penh-Kuala Lumpur.
In the second way,I prefer to take airplane on Hanoi-Bangkok.
And of course other roads,I will take the bus to go.Could you give me some recommendations about the routes?I hope that I can get the long distance buses all the time...

And I think my budget is US$300-500 for about 10 days.

I think I should plan for up to 3 cities because too many places can get nothing for me...
By the way,I know all the Visas of Thailand,Vietnam and Cambodia can be applied at the checkpoint. But I wanna do it in could I directly go to the consulate to apply it?

P.S:Now I plan only to go to Bangkok,Siam Reap and Saigon...Maybe I'll add one place, either Chiang Mai or Yangoon. And the budget is up to US$500 for 2 person for about 10 days.

Any more suggestions:)?
