Hi there

I'm taking a long trip this year end too; India being one of my destinations. I am looking at late Dec or early Jan departure from Singapore. Have no firmed plans yet... still saving money, and still looking for a travel partner. Let's keep in touch... maybe we can hook up?

Hello Saurabh!
Welcome to TP! :)
I was just wondering why you mention in both your posts that you are fair skinned...does it matter in India?

I've heard from Indians themselfes that there is lots of racial discrimination in India (I guess especially with under-educated people). The more fair-skinned the better. There is even this white powder in Indian market. Girls put it on their face to look more fair-skinned,

there is no fairskin complex in india contrary to what u"ve heard.indians r comfortable in their color, its the white who crave for the tan...a lot many fairskins have mentiond this to me.. the powder applied by indians gilrs if any ,is only seeking protection from the sun...
i m going to be in mumbai till the 14th nov and thwn travel to delhi..so i cud catch up with tp"s as and then..
