hi sheaven,
There is a good bit of work in the cities, especially wellington for anything you want to do, from bar work, admin, or specialised! However myself and a friend were in Dunedin for over a month around june july time and had signed up with an agency but there was no temping work available! I was working part time in a bar and a hostel there though so that kept me going! most of the jobs there are taken by students so pick your time to go! the ski resorts have a good bit of work too, especially bar and waitressing!
working in hostels is always a good option too coz you save loads of money on accommodation!
hope this helps

im working here at the moment and its dead easy to find work, always a good idea to have your working holiday visa sorted first (which lasts around 2 years now) but no shortage. Only thing is the wages dont go far so bring all the savings you can!
