Practical Tip: have a camera with you at ALL times.

Sounds obvious, but once you start actively 'looking' for shots, you will kick yourself when you reach for the camera that isn't there.

You always see the best pictures with the most gorgeous light when you left your camera behind!

But you're right, developing a photographic eye is crucial, and the best way to go about that is to look at photographs carefully and study what like about them (and don't like in some cases).

How about tips on buying a new camera thats what i could do with right now.I want something small and compact that can easily fit in my pocket for starters and ive just been searching through what seems like hundreds of websites getting info on cameras and i seem to be getting nowhere.
Ive found about 6 cameras that if i picked all the good bits from them and put them into one camera it would be awesome but theres always 1 or 2 things about each camera that lets it down.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Maybe i should just stick with what ive got although for some reason i keep getting alot of blurry photos from my cameras these days.

Hmmm... maybe it's not the cameras so much as the beer...

Doesn't dpreview have all the information you might ever want?
