A "Lady" of my own heart! That is my favorite just-make-a-fast-cup tea. Lady Grey is the best tea ever invented.

I give that comment a big thumbs up!!!!!!

And thumbs up on the Moroccan mint. Really great when my asthma acts up. Doesn't do anything medically, but it just feels good, and I'm all about the placebo.

There is a reason that the mint tea makes you feel better during an asthma attack. The natural oils in the mint leaves (dried or fresh) work as a mild muscle relaxant. If you drink hot mint tea, the steam helps soothe the nasal passages while the mint oils relax and open the bronchi. It's only a mild effect, but does give you a small amount of relief. Cold mint tea will also have the same effect, but only on your lungs. (Mint tea is also used to relieve intestinal distress, headaches and muscle aches - all because of the muscle relaxant properties.) Hot tea with fresh mint works the best because the oils have not begun to degrade.

I will do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g when I can't breathe!

There's also a good tea, more of an herbal thing, though, called Throat Coat. A lot of singers are real junkies with it. It does feel good after a long concert!

Dilmah--where's that from?

Sri Lanka, but it is one of the most popular teas down here in NZ, along with PG Tips, Bell & Choysa

I love Earl Grey.

I like most types of Chinese tea too, such as Longjing, Tieguanyin, Xiangpian, Wulong, etc.

I love jasmine tea with a graham cracker. It always makes me feel so cozy.

Hey, babygirl1!!

You should visit the Celestial Seasonings plant in Boulder. They serve tea all day long in the lobby--and it's FREE!! They make some teas that I didn't even know about. Most of it is herbal stuff, but they do have quite a bit of "real" tea as well. You can also get really large boxes of their tea in the gift shop for a dollar or two.

I just like a good cup of ultra stong char. PG tips, Tetleys, Sainsbury's own red label, whatever. With milk and sugar of course!

Oh, for all you Earl Grey drinkers. Get a little bottle of bergomot oil from a health food shop, put one drop on your PG tips and hey presto, it turns to Earl Grey
