You have a Kangaroo loose in the top paddock.
An Aussie expression meaning that you are a loonie.

Your mention of "inner reflection ?
Is that just after some inspired jihadi presses the mobile and I actually get to see my guts flying in different directions?

Pope Ratzi just shirt-fronted Islam about it's inherent violence and jihad, and, as expected, the moslem faithful are demonstrating in the street demanding an apology for the so-called hurt and insult to the prophet and the faith.
Meanwhile mullahs exhort the masses to hatred and violence against the West and the kafir as per the Koran and the Hadith.

I don't despise Islam for it's ignorance, it's inherent violence, it's brutal mysoginy or it's claim to God's perfection.
That's a given, and as long as that barbarism stays outside Australia, why should I give a shit.

I do despise Islam for it's 'Crass Hyprocisy'.
Islam is a religion of 'Peace and Tolerance', but it only accepts Peace on it's own terms and tolerates the most disgusting tyrannies of the 20th/21st centuries (Assad/Gaddafi/Khomenei/Taliban/Wahhabism.etc....)

Being that people around the world, and in particular the United States, are afraid of Terrorists oh so much, here are some stats! Woo hoo!

Deaths in the United States
From 1995 - 2005

Driving off the road: 254,419
Falling: 146,542
Accidental poisoning: 140,327
Dying from work: 59,730
Walking down the street: 52,000.
Drowning: 38,302
Killed by the flu: 19,415
Dying from a hernia: 16,742
Accidental firing of a gun: 8,536
Electrocution: 5,171
Being shot by law enforcement: 3,949
Terrorism: 3147
Carbon monoxide in products: 1,554

It seems more people have been killed by the police than by "Terrorists"... hmm, interesting.

Does this also mean that you dispise the hyprocisy of the Catholic church also?
Or the Jewish faith? Israel has treated the palistanian people almost as badly over the years as the germans did (in the 1930's)in herding the jews into the ghetto's. One hand preaching 'we have been so wronged' in one breathe, and doing the same thing in the next. I'm not saying Israel has committed mass genocide or starvation, but the segregation, police/army tatics are similar. Both sides have severe blood on their hands, but to just blam one is wrong.

What is happening today is just a blip on the time line, all parties have some responsability for the conflicts that are happening today. It is in the name of religion that people commit these acts (as far as i know it doesn't say go kill in the scripts), but it's not limited to just islam.

However, it seems that the last few years the ilamic faith, or more accurately a vocal minority seem to be using any missplaced comment/pic as an excuse for massive over reactions - be this violent demonstrations or most recently car bombing (thailand this week).
Solution to the problems - easy Get Rid Of ALL Religions
That is the only real solution, it would go along way to making the world a more equal society.
Jase steps of the soapbox realising everyone has fallen asleep and wanders off to get a cup of coffee

Solution to the problems - easy Get Rid Of ALL Religions

Do you include the religion of "materialism" in there? It may not be a specific god that people worship, but the love of money and stuff has easily been responsible for far more bloodshed, wars and hurt than all religions combined.

I don't think the solution is getting rid of religion. Rather it is that people should pay attention to what their religions demand of them and act accordingly. For instance, if every christian 'did to others as they would have others do to them.', I think you would find the world would indeed be a more equal society. Would Bush have invaded Iraq if he listened to those words? Would he refuse to grant his prisoners of war a fair trial?

Well, most religions are based on material gain. Just look at the riches of the churches, sinagogs and mosks, yet the majority of the people proaticing these faiths are poor.
As for George W, there is a question for you, it was the bible belt in the US who put him in there.

I think you missed my point. The examples you mention simply show how some people have failed in following their religion, which is precisely what I was trying to get at. The excesses of some churches, synagogues and mosks are shining examples of what not to do. Religions aren't 'based on material gain' as you say, quite the opposite. They unfortunately are led/populated by humans and humans tend to be greedy (religious or not). If the rich churches distributed their wealth to the poor, then they truly could be considered good followers of their faith.

And yes, the bible belt in the US has a lot to answer for. Not least George W.

Perhaps a better way to put it would be:

"Most religions downfall is material gain"

I'd put more like:
Most religions downfall is material greed

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

So now we just need to get rid of material greed. That seems easy

I have the perfect way - give it all to me
As we don't live long, we never own anything we are just the caretakers for the next generation of all creatures and plants.
Just makes you think, why do we worry about possessions? here today gone tomorrow make the most of what you have while you can
