gwen has indicated that this thread is about Brazil

Can anybody give some advice and opinions traveling outside of the two most talked about cities (Rio & Sao Paolo)? I'm planning visit a number of small cities and towns in Brazil. How's it compared to traveling in the same manner as in Argentina?

Should I be a cautious in these small towns as I would be in Rio or SP?

I'm traveling alone in Brazil from Jan. 3rd to Jan 15th (open to travel with any backpackers if interested).

Hi Gwen,

I am not sure which cities are you talking about?
Well, of course Rio and Sao Paulo are the most considered dangerous cities in Brazil, but you have to do safety -cautions in every place you go, unless the place is not really touristic.
But I guessyou won't have any problems even travelling alone, if you follow the normal safety rules, you will be fine.

if you want to, I can give you lot's of advices also on other places outside of Rio and SP...just drop me a message, ok?
