hey my partner and i are getting married in vegas in january. we understand that you can pre book online for a basic p[ackage for about $300usd, just wondering if you can get cheaper deals if we wait till we actually start looking around for a chapple. also if anyone had any tips or nice places to wed. we are students so on a budget. thanks. josie and james.
I have found for all my Vegas questions, usually the answer can be found on Vegas.com. Check out the legalities section to make sure that you cross all your Ts and dot all your Is. This site links to the Clark County site, from which you can also link to the Chamber of Commerce site for more links.
I imagine the cheapest place to get married would be the Commissioner of Civil Marriages, which charges $50 for the ceremony.
There are many wedding chapels in Las Vegas that specialize in quickie marriages. Most are right on the Las Vegas Strip. If you want just a little more bang for your buck and have some time to book ahead, check out the Wedding Chapel in the Circus,Circus. It's still fairly reasonable, but not the quick in-and-out type of marriage the other places provide.
I hope you and James have a wonderful life together.
