Hi again Tam,

Saw that you already got an answer. It seems though to be information that is not updated, as I've heard it the old airport has been shut down, but will be in use during the Olympics!! Noone I've asked has any info as to getting there, apart from one guy who told me that the bus from the new airport to Piraeus passes the old airport!! You also got the link for the Athensguide, which I really like, this Matt Barret guy has lots of info. I've been in touch with him a few times some years ago, before going to Greece.

I found my Greece guide, not LP, but the Independent Traveller's Greek Island Hopping guide, which doesn't really add anything to Gelli's info for you.

have a nice day

Hi!

Sheesh ....Getting around these airports sounds almost scary! Matt Barrett does have a great site and lots of info- I'm going to write to him too!

You have a nice one too.

Cheers,
Tam.

Scary, yes, isn't it If you really need the info, I think you should try your local tourist office, if you haven't got one, I could try ours in Copenhagen, no problem. They should know, don't know why I didn't think about that in the first place.

Guess you could spend a couple of days on Matt's homepage and not even get around half of it, I know it's commercial as well, but he has so much info, and updated info, that it's worth it.

There's a Norwegian site as well with quite a bit of info, that's not commercial, so I guess the link would be allowed here: http://www.islandstrolling.com/english/index.htm. This guy, Jan Bergtun, has had all of his homepage translated into English by volunteers, so some of it is very good, some of it average, but still understandable English ;) Most of it is about the Greek islands but it also has a section on Athens.

Will have a nice day too, when I've had a bit of sleep, it's 10:45 at night here

Cheers
Sole
