Unless you are Johnny Cash - black on black ain't that good - but there are exceptions...

Isa goes off to figure out exactly what those exceptions are...

[ Edit: Because I can... Leave it at that... ]

How can it be bad? Black always looks good! Easy to mix and match...as long as you don't put on 'Green Day' type mascara....you won't look morbid. It is classy!

Two biggies that are pretty much related:

1) DON'T hog the conversation. And when the other person is talking, look like you're actually interested.
2) DON'T spend 3 hours talking about how your ex-fiancee left you. (Seriously, that happened to me once).

And I love black and black! If a guy were to show up all dressed in black (minus the black eyeliner and nailpolish), he'd be starting off on the right foot.

Thank you T...I was looking for some validation! ;)

1) Ok, pending Isa's rebuttal, black with black is good, 2 votes to 1. What other colour combinations ?

2) I notice guys are wearing tighter clothing these days. That's good ?

3) Shoes. I don't understand them. What's a "good looking" shoe ?

The hogging the conversation thingy is mostly nervousness. I used to do that a lot. The thing that made the difference for me was when I realized that I spent an evening with someone and knew almost nothing about them by the end of the night. What a waste of my time! I'm such an idiot!

I said I had exceptions to the black on black rule... I'm working on the deliniation... Gee-wiz, it's Sunday and I do have a life outside of TP! Okay - maybe not - but have been playing Tiger Woods PGA Golf all afternoon. Black on black is good - but not always...

Isa heads off to make dinner and will rebut in the morning. ;)

Here I am giggling away at this thread, and now realise that I am dressed head to toe, entirely in black today The make-up is not heavy eyeliner & white foundation though;)
