My girlfriend and I are going to Hong Kong in Feb and have a few ideas of what to do from tourist guides etc. However they often dont tell a true story!
So please help with the following
What are the sights to see?
How expensive is Hong Kong for accomodation and eating/drinking?
How would people advise on getting round Hong Kong or is everything quite centralised!!!??
Please Reply ASAP

there is budget accommodation in Hong Kong as well - from $HK120/night in the Mirador Mansions.
try ferry and double decker tram from one end to the other
see how nice u would like to stay in hk, coz the price could vary quite a lot. if u stay in a normal or pretty nice hotel, that would cost around USD40 to 70 per nite. and my friend once came and found a place which is just a room in an apartment was around USD10 per night... haha.. it really depends...
take the ferry across the victoria harbor then go up onto the peak is a must!!! stanley for dinner and photos are nice too! but dun buy things there, its just sth to cheat foreigners.
and shopping for electronic products are cheap and reliable in many places. u could visit the chain stores for that. audio visual devices are at the most advanced models, and very cheap in hk.
and ocean park, disney land, to ur options.
some outlying islands r nice, too. like lamma island. u could do a bit trekking there, for like 2 hours. and could try seafood there.
and if u have 2 days spare, its nice to go to Macau as well. its like one and a half hour ferry from hk. it was once colonized by portugese, so has many portugese building, and excellent food )and much cheaper than hk= there!!
hope these help
