Coal? Thats for Hogmanay isn't it not Christmas

Ooohh I like the sound of the tropical island, I could do without Beerman in his green speedo though and I'm sure you would like him minus the speedo there Isa;)

I don't know about a perfect gift.. I just like gifts of any description & christmas trees & chocolate & bubbly & a lovely big lunch & Elvis, you have to have a bit of the King on
Christmas Day

The perfect Christmas gift would be to help someone in need instead of wasting it on myself.

Speaking of the perfect Christmas gift...for the first time, all of our families, my husband's and mine, decided NOT go buy any Christmas presents for each other this year. Instead, we were to either donate money towards HURRICANE KATRINA relief or toys for children of a specific family in need. That is kind of hard to find if you are not a member of a church or a specific group but for me it was easy! My sister is going to buy the toys in Peru and deliver them to a very poor family she knows with four kids and no hope of getting Christmas presents this year. In Peru, poor people are easy to find indeed.

I mean, really, I think people should not exchange presents, the whole meaning of Christmas and family being together is lost because we are too busy shopping and running around like mad people.
By the time it is all said and done, you are in debt another $1,000 and stressed to the max. I like our new rule! NO PRESENTS!
