3 of my friends and i will be partaking in a backpacking adventure through Mexico in 2 weeks.
We are planning to start in Bisbee AZ and end up in Puerto Vallarta.(unless we can go farther, time permiting)
We would be so stoked if anyone has any great info about any great areas that we could go to arent to touristy.
also, were interested in rad beaches that we can camp at, and cheap ways to get around.
Also if anyone knows any good routes as well. that could be a big help.
This is all our 1st time. so weew all pretty excited, and
advice would be welcome.
thanx and take care.......
Sounds like a great fun trip and Bisbee sounds a great place to visit.
Dont worry,I'am from UK and could'nt find Bisbee in Mexico so was looking up where Bisbee was and it has great histroy.
I've never travelled your route only bused it from Cancun down to Belize then all the way through Central America.
Mexico has a very good cheap bus service and you will have no problems.
Just try to board appox 0800 and jump off 1200 and into hostel or cheapie hotel as their is lots on the route you will be taking,go to accomodation at top of page.
Also their is lots of good info at links, tools and destinations at top of page and go into travel help for any detailed info.
To be honest its your trip and a good guide book like Lonely Planet Mexico lets you decide what you want to do and most of the time thats all the companion one needs to enjoy the world.
Sorry I could'nt be of more help but enjoy your trip and the beaches and keep a little record of places you stayed and price etc.
Have a nice day.
