Hi, my girlf and I plan on travelling in China for approx 2 months next year. We are departing Ireland on Jan 16, and spending 3ish months in SE Asia before flying to Hong Kong around May.
The question is, where and when should we get our Chinese Visa? If we apply in ireland, it is valid only for 3 months from date of issue, which would mean we have to be there before April assuming we apply before Christmas - this doesn't suit us.
Is it possible to get a Chinese 2-month tourist visa in Bangkok or Hong Kong?
Any advice is appreciated.
yeah it's simple getting hold of a Chinese visa in Bangkok. Any travel agent around Ko San Road will sort it for you.
yeah, i think getting ur visa in Hongkong is also very simple. travel agency will glad to help u.
this is my second attempt to email you regarding a chinese visa.you can get in hongkong relatively easy,if you are from an european country you can get a 1month,3months,1year visas.the visa process takes 3 or 5 days,if you want it quicker you pay extra.
I just made a last minute decisiont to visit Southwestern China. Would it be possible for me to get a China Visa in HCMC, Vietnam? If so, how much time would it take for a tourist agent to help me process the visa? What should the cost be?
Out of curiosity, is there a difference in time or cost if I get the visa in Bangkok instead of HCMC? I am wondering if I should put off getting the China visa until I get to Bangkok vs. just getting this part over with as soon as I arrive in Vietnam.
