Hey guys,

I'm taking a quick trip to Amsterdam later this week, and looking for advice on what to see/do...

I have 3 1/2 days only. Any advice on how to spend it? Should I see anything outside of Amsterdam? Also a couple of people mentioned taking the train to Brussels, but that seems tight with only 3 1/2 days and I want to make sure I see all of Amsterdam...

Would greatly appreciate any advice!

I wouldn't bother with Brussells. Seems to have only 1 nice square. I was very disappointed in it.

I wouldn't bother with Brussels either. There are plenty of things to do in Amsterdam. There are the museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, etc), there's the Red Light District, Flower Market and canal tour, there's the fun of just wandering around and soaking in the feel of the city. Nearby Haarlem is also worth a visit, I think it's about 15 mins by train.
