Hi,

Could anyone tell me a good website for booking internal flights in Latin America. Looking to book a flight from Costa Rica down to South America (probably Buenos Aires) they seem pretty expensive though???

Any suggestions??

Robbie

Hi
Probally the best Airline is www.taca.com for Central/South America.
As you will be in CA why not use www.ticabus.com and travel down to Panama and THEN fly to Cartagena/Bogota;Columbia.
I had a great time this year travelling in C/S America and Columbia was the most friendlist place on my travels.
If you use the bus just jump on appox 0800 and jump off 1200,max 4 hrs.
Best guide book is Lonely Planet Central America/South America which has all the info for cheap hotels/buses/flights etc.
Anyway, wishing you a great happy travel and enjoy yourself.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post websites on this forum, but if you do a google search of Copa Airlines you will find they have reasonably priced fares to many destinations in North, Central and South America and the Carribean

The posting of websites in the forums is allowed provided those sites are related to the topic of the thread. Promotional website links are not allowed. Hope that helps, Jake.

I flew all around Central America on Taca. STA planned the whole thing for me for free and they can get cheaper taca prices than you could just looking on the web. They set up a package for me for like $400 dollars where i flew to FLorida--El Salvador-- Guatemala-- (bus Belize)-- Costa Rica then Panama-- FL and there was the option to go to Peru not sure about Brazil. Check with them though they're SUPER helpful and its free!

You can get a flight from San Jose to Buenos Aires for almost half that price with Copa Airlines. www.copaair.com
