When I tried to update my profile just now, the content inside "hobbies" column was blank. I have to retype the entry again. And the marital status cannot be updated. I choose "blank" but it still shows "single". Please kindly help to verify this.
You're right about the Hobbies part. The content will disappear in edit mode.
But as for Marital Status, the "blank" is not an option, that's why you cannot change it to "blank". Why do you want "blank" for your marital status?
Another problem (old one), Peter/Sam/Sander.
The profile form was just updated yesterday, and clearly there are some bugs.. I'll try to fix them now.
Ok, problems fixed JitShen.. let me have a look at that preview issue now Hien
Smiley cannot be inserted when you've previewed your post in the forums.
Ok, that one's fixed now too. A case of duplicate form names confusing JS.
Yay! I can now add smilies (after previewing) by simply clicking on them instead of typing the codes!
Thanks Peter. Just checked the thing out. Everything works fine.
Rapid problem solver, Pete
Actually, the marital status wasn't updating at all before.. no matter what you selected, it would have gone to whatever it was before then. So yes, it was definitely a bug
This is not a profile problem but a bit connected to the preview-smiley problem... (And, I'm sure it is only happening on my machine. )
I have just posted two replies in the post card thread and had this problem both times:
I typed my response, hit preview and got the preview. When I hit submit, it reloaded the reply page - preview box was gone, but it didn't "submit" my response. I still had the box for typing my reply. If i hit preview again, I get the preview. When I hit submit, back to the "type response" page without the preview box. It would not submit my response. I copied my text, went back to the last page of the thread, and started over. This time not previewing my response. If I don't hit preview first, just submit, it will accept it. If I do a preview first - it will not accept it.
Oh, and I restarted Safari between the first and second postings, just in case it was a minor glitch in the program loading. It didn't make a difference.
Okay... I'm ready... Give it to me straight... It's just me... I know it...
