Hello

My husband and I have been in Melbourne since October trying to look for work and we have not had any luck so far. We have registered with over 5 agencies and even they can't help us find work. We have been looking in newspapers and on the internet...
We are now trying to apply for fruit picking or packing jobs on the farms but not sure where to look or what internet sites to use...can someone please help us or give us tips on how to look for jobs...

Please help!!!!

Hi,

There are internet searches for jobs like http://www.seek.com.au/

Also, you may be able to sign up for Centerlink's Job Network - no, you may not get payments while looking for work if you're not a citizen, but I believe most people can sign up for assistance in looking for work. Anyway, it can't hurt to find out what help is out there.

Try this site: http://www.workplace.gov.au/workplace/Individual/Jobseeker/JobSeeking/HarvestLabour/
but you might be better off just talking to someone about the options.

Good Luck with the job hunt..
