Hi,

anyone of you heard of the castle district north of madrid? There is an area that had quite a few castles... was wondering if it is easily accessible by public transport or do i have to drive?

Also in Dec, is it gonna be freaking cold?

Hi

Just to point out that inland locations , such as Madrid, can be quite cold in winter.

Warmest places are Med coast, and more South the better.

Sevilla, Jerez and Rota are not bad in December. It's a great time to see the sights because it's not so blasted hot and the crowds are down. Madrid is still nice because of the museums, bars and people watching, but it gets cold. I've heard Portugal is good too.

Hi,

get a flight there really cheap easyjet or monarch try gibraltar. it's really good the weather warm . we have not had much rain and with a jumper your really warm. cooler at night - it's all those tiled floors.try near gibraltar on thursdays it's free entertainment.
find yourself a cheap hotel somewhere round la linea and use the trains or buses. the're quite good. plenty of places to see and go.
