I will be staying in Thailand in february for a few weeks before I head to London- I just want to know if I would be able to find warm clothes and boots in Thailand to take to the UK or should I just buy them when I get there?

Hmmm, I wouldn't imagine the Thai shops are highly stocked with winter clothes at this time of year to be honest, so if I were you, I'd just wait till you get to London.

I reckon that's your best bet. The shops will still be full of winter stuff and a lot of it may be on sale - then you can hit Oxford Street and really go mad! Or at least, that's what I would do......

The last few March months in London have really not been that cold. In fact they can be pretty mild so i would say get the warmer clothes in Bangkok (they can be found) as they are much cheaper. I live in London and jeans, denim jacket with sweatshirt are fine to keep you warm at tha time of year.

To be keep in mind that the winter clothes in Bkk is not as "warm" as ones in Europe. Of course, if you buy in expensive places whose clothes (or anything) are imported from Europe

You can bring a light jacket and sweater with you from home. Many hotels in Bangkok will store stuff for you expecting you to return and book a second room with them. I wouldn't bring anything expensive with you, nothing you would cry over if it became "lost" somehow.

I was in MBK a few days ago, they had winter clothing in some of the shops (MBK is huge, right on the National Stadium Skytrain stop.) Expect lots of small and medium sizes and not too many "larger" sizes.

i would definitely disagree with you guys for no a warm cloth sold in Bangkok. You just have to find the right place. Ofcourse, some shops in MBK near 'siamsquare'. there's also a shop called the 'export' shop which sell a lot of export clothes, sweather, jacket, t-shirt, with a size that Thais normally can't wear. Well the shops are normally in the department store such as Central plaza which has many branches
