I bought half a dozen "Hansa Pils" from Germany, and had the first one tonight.

Quite a nice beer; never had it before, and only bought it out of curiosity.

My two favourite beers are Efes (Turkey) and Kronenbourg (France).

Quoting Sam I Am

Now that I live outside of Holland, I treat myself to Grolsch every now and then. Especially here in Norway where beer is just ridiculously expensive :(

I take it those cases of "TP Beer" have not arrived yet???

Isa leaves to remind Beerman to ship them soon!! ;)

Grolsch and Brand are the two best tasting beers in Holland in my opinion. Heiniken is just urine to me. The dark beer Grimbergen from Belgium I like best.

Beerman, dare I say, you are a beer snob! If the Huber website I just visited is infact your beer, then fair enough. Looks like good stuff, can it be purchased in Colorado? Drank a fair bit of Leinie's when I was in college, but not sure I ever tried Huber.

No, John, you daren't not say I'm a beer snob
Actually, I have met a fair number of real beer snobs, and they are frightening people. They like to talk about the chemistry of the beer, how many hops, etc. until you almost want to cut off your leg to get out of that trap....

And sure, just go ahead and stick that knife in my back....go on, twist it around......Leinie's? Pphhttt, ha I say, HA!! You just ain't been around mister!!!!

Yes, that is my website, and no, I don't think it's available in Colorado. Should be available in Vegas though....VEGASMIKE???

Come, John, come to the dark side of southern Wisconsin.....we have cheese......

Then I probably shouldn't tell you that Leinie's was when we splurged. Most of the time it was Milwaukee's Best, PBR and Olympia (spent a year of college in Oregon). Hey, if you drink 20 of any of those, you won't care what they taste like.

Not a huge cheesefan, so I think I'll stay put where I am drinking Budweiser and the occasional Fat Tire (New Belgium Brewery), but continue to ski everyday.

If I find myself back out in the Midwest, I'd love a "tour"!

"Probably the best lager in the world"

I would have to agree with their official slogan and go with Carlsberg. No beer has ever quenched that deep beer thirst you get at 7 in the morning quite like a good pint of Carlsberg Export. Ahhhh....sorry for the drool, I have not had one in 6 months since leaving the UK and have not found it anywhere in the states, I may die of thirst soon. Anybody up for mailing me some beer?

Also a big fan of Peroni and anything Italian, they are just yummy!
