ok, let see... mmmm ... Srating in Buenos Aires to enjoy tango nights or modern disco, day1: walk around from Congres (there is a free inside tour around 11am) go up to Avenida de MAyo stop for a drink at the famous café Tortoni, keep walking and enjoy the atmosfera till Plaza de Mayo, where is the Casada Rosada (pink house), The cathedral, the cabildo and the House of the Culture.
Day2: Visit La boca the colourful port neigborhood, walk to lezama park area and in the way see San Telmo.
Day3: take and easy day and visit Puerto Madero a new neighborhood and la reserva ecologica...
day 4: walk around Florida pedestrian street for some shop and to take a look for the stressed life, take Corrientes street till Obelisco... at night have a drink in San Martin street where youngs office worker make their "after office"
Day 5: visit Recoleta area (plaza Francia) and look around museums and the famous cementery... after walk through the Alvear street... funcy
Day6: on Sunday you must go to Mataderos Feria, folclore music and good food...
ok enough in B.A. take the road to the south city Puerto Madryn, or Ushuaia, turn up to scalate Fitz Roy and drink some chocolate in Bariloche, form the on you have to rise to Salta and Jujuy for a dish of locro...
on so on... Have a good trip!!

May I also recommend the San Telmo markets in Buenos Aires on Sunday afternoon.

Good bars but expensive around Recoleta and Purto Madero at night. Better to go to Palermo Hollywood, Plaza Serrano or San Telmo for the best value (and best bars) in BA.

Head west from BA to Mendoza. Visit the wineries and do a tour of the mountains.

Go north to Salta as well from there and to Hamahuaca for some breathtaking and colurful countryside, plus the best empanadas in Argentina are found in Salta.
