I am about to do a more thorough search among the threads, but what airline does everyone prefer when flying internationally?
I am planning to fly from the US to sydney AUS, then travel overland to Bangkok, and fly from there back to the US.
Which airline would you guys suggest for multi-destination travel? I have already checked out Airtreks.com, and is a consideration, but cheapness is the most important factor. So which would you suggest for my itinerary?
Umm... not entirely sure how you are planning to go overland from Sydney to Bangkok... unless your a pretty good swimmer. My advice would just be to first check out return flights to sydney via SE Asia, otherwise I'd imagine you would cost you a fair amount...
There are plenty of ways to get from northern OZ into indonesia, and then up to SE Asia. I plan on sailing to Kupang from Darwin. Plans are not firm, but I have done a bit of research on it, and it seems likely. And you can get from island to island by ferry once i'm in indonesia, and once in indonesia, its real easy to get into the SE Asian peninsula.
From the research I have done, I am finding the prices to be about 1500-1800 American dollars. But if anyone knows a cheaper way, please let me know. Every penny counts!
