Would just like to ask if anyine knows of any really good clubs in London, i will be going for a couple of big nights out before i go away to oz for a year or two.
Don't want anything too heavy, R&B, dance music is the sort of thing oh and anyone know of any 'famous' clubs as in very popular, social circles etc...if you catch my drift, i have a feeling the night will be on me!!
Appparantly there is a club in camden where they do a pj night???
So many questions...would be very grateful tho for any info. thanks. x
If you want to go for a pre club drink I recoment a "secret" place called Milk and Honey (google(UK) it: type 'milk honey london' and it should be the 6th site), its in Soho. You need a reservastion and the whole experience is really weird and secretive, even the front doors are black and there are no signs outside. The service is impecable and its just an experience, so look for it! there are also some good clubs to go onto in that area so have a hunt, sorry but I can't remember any of their names.
I suggest you buy Time Out they have an extensive listing on all types of clubs,
if you want a 'famous' club I guess Fabric is something for you...
Sugar Reef (Soho), Tiger Tiger (Picadilly Circus).
Yeah somewhere likr Fabric or Ministry of sound most likey meets the 'famous' aspects! If you want something a bit different try Nag Nag Nag at the Ghetto on a wednesday, really crazy and a lot of cool people!!!Trash at the End is really cool, seen Kate moss there a few times in the pastQOr the Cross on saturday nights is really cool....or you could just try Egg...theres too many to choose from!!!!!have fun!
Nag Nag Nag still at The Ghetto on Wednesdays?
Wow, I used to go there 3 years ago when it was fairly new, then it became ridiculously crowded..
Also used to go to Ministry of Unsound which was a soundsystem which had a squat party in the arches behind Ministry of Sound every Sat. Free and a much more fun imo than MoS
If you like dance/breakbeat or drum and bass there are loads of wicked nights at Fabric in Faringdon (one stop from King cross), the colloseums also a good one, for a more 'real' rave scene, check out Bagleys, although its a bit rough, Ministry of sound does a cracking night out although its pretty expensive although so's Fabric...
Really for music Londons a fantastic place to be Time out was a good suggestion although I suggest if you head out for the day to try and pick up some flyers of your own cos the people that write those magazines are'nt the "coolest" people in the world.
btw when are you going to be around maybe we could go for a drink?
Nice one Mim, i was gna suggest the same - Fabric, Bagleys, Turnmills, Slimelight , But thought she was lookin for more RnB. These clubs are the real nightlife in London - my OPINION
Hey Applegirl!!!Yeah we used to go to Nag Nag Nag back in the day also around about the same time you were talking about, we had some crazy nights out there!!!!!I know what you mean, it bacame a bit TOO fashionista and it was soooooo squashy in there!!!!and the queue werent especially a treat in the winter!
Wow-thanks for your responses guys, i'm really looking forward to it-bring a good crowd down and London won't know what's hit em, tee, hee, hee!!
