well i'm probally going to do this bunac thing come june/july 2006, somewhere in britain. but i dont really have anybody else to go with so if anybody else is doing it round the same time.
i'm from california by the way, and i'm 18.

i was thinking about that too! but i don't have US citizenship so I'm still waiting for their response to see if I'm eligible. are you doing the program where you attend classes or do the internship?
i was going to do the work study program during my summer break, where you get a blue card that allows you to work. they dont offer internships or classes though, they have alot of information at their website, bunac.org and you can request a brochure.
and also it says you don't have to be a us citizen, as long as your a permanent resident or green card holder.
I'm thinking about going to Britain too. I'm actually still debating whether to go to Ireland or Britain. I know my excitement can't help but be coupled with anxiety of going to a new, foreign place so it will be nice to know someone else in my position go through with me together. I'll get back to you when I decide. =]
Ah yeah, I've decided to wait a bit to go though, because I'm moving to Montana in a few weeks. I probally won't do this bunac thing till around the end of this year now.
Ireland sounds like a great program too, when are you planning on going?
