Do you mean you prefer yourself as a passer-by in every aspect?
Just watch and see?

That's impossible according to the physical laws of the universe. Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

Obviuosly s/he didn't mean that Q.

I heard something recently that everyone's base ideal's stem from one belief. That either everything in the universe is already there or things are being made. So let's start with that question and look at some others.

Please no waffly answers. If you are not completely sure go with your first answer that comes to mind. If you are right on the fence then pick one that sounds best to you.

Tough issues laid out:
---------------------------------------

1) Everything in the Universe is already there or is being made?

2) There is a "higher power" (God(s), etc)? Yes/No

3) "Life" continues after death? Yes/No

4) There is a cycle of re-incarnation (Samsara, etc.)? Yes/No

5) Humans need systems of control? Yes/No

6) Capital Punishment is "just"? Yes/No

7) Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

8) Free-Market or Controlled-Market?

9) Everyone for themselves or everyone for others?

10) Are we alone in the Universe? Yes/No

Are you sure about that ?

The concepts of math and physics have been extrapolated into all kinds of fields. It's impossible to "just watch and see" life passing by. Just ask experimental psychologists. They have all kinds of influence on the life they're "watching". Similar things occur in commerce, sociology, etc.

1) Everything in the Universe is already there or is being made?
being made.. by you.

2) There is a "higher power" (God(s), etc)? Yes/No
doesn't matter.

3) "Life" continues after death? Yes/No
whatever gets you to sleep at night.

4) There is a cycle of re-incarnation (Samsara, etc.)? Yes/No
lol, samsara(??), it would be fun, wouldnt it? doesnt matter, though.

5) Humans need systems of control? Yes/No
nope

6) Capital Punishment is "just"? Yes/No
nope

7) Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?
pro life.... (sketchy.. im not a girl)

8) Free-Market or Controlled-Market?
no market.

9) Everyone for themselves or everyone for others?
Everyone's gotta find their own path, and that path might just be for others.

10) Are we alone in the Universe? Yes/No
were not alone on this planet, and thats all that matters.

Well Q, according to the physical laws of the universe anything is possible. From what I can tell, cikusang meant that do you prefer to watch and observe people. cikusang isn't asking if your exert force on the the universe...

And STS thanks for the answers, but your answers seemed very waffly to me. I understand your position of "doesn't matter", but it does matter in a way because people base their lives around many of these ideal's. It may not matter to you whether or not there is a higher power, but that doesn't answer the question of "do you believe in one".

and so you know Samasara is more than a user of these boards, it is the hindu and buddhist idea that life and death is a cycle bound to this material world. I was just pointing it out as an example of re-incarnation.

ah i see bren-dan. i guess im a waffly kinda guy. with maple syrup. and a glass of orange juice. but becuase you introduced me to a new word and its mad awesome, ill revise.

2) there is a higher power, but not a 'god'. if anything, its an aspect of life that we cant see, an energy or invisible blood in all things. if you want to call it that, and i can feel it daily. but i do believe whether or not you believe in such anythings shouldn't change the way you live. (i.e., you should live your life the way you would see fit whether or not there would a be a big man in the sky watching you)

3) i really have no idea if life continues. reincarnation would be nice.

4) so sure, why not. yea i believe in it just becuase saying i dont know apparently causes flagrant error in brendan's crazy questionnaire.

and just for the record, buddhism was and still is the only religion i would consider joining.

heheh.. waffly.
