I have been reading the comments about asiarooms.com. I have used them about 4 times and 3 of them were great. I got exactly what I asked for and what they had advertised. The last time when I booked for a 1 night transit in Bangkok the booking had not been made. When talking to the asiarooms.com representative in Bangkok she was extremely rude and would take absolutely no responsibility. So I had to pay again at a slightly higher rate, although the hotel was very good and gave me very close to the discount that asiarooms enjoy.
When trying to get a refund from asiarooms.com well that is a very different story...what a nightmare! The travel was in August 2008 it is now late October and still nothing! They were rude and very unresponsive. They gave me a path to follow and when I told them it was impossible to follow that path of reimbursement, they would offer no other. I had to do the work to get it!
I would never in all my life touch them again over this experience. Unless they hold out a golden handshake of apology and give me the refund. I am having to ask my credit card company...my bank to reverse the charges. It is fraud!
