mahmud has indicated that this thread is about Bangladesh

Bangladesh, a name perhaps you heard with flood, cyclone & political unrest. But which country is far from those? I know there is no country in the world without these. The agony is that from Bangladesh Govt. or any other organization never protest such propaganda’s against Bangladesh; they never try to express the actual picture of Bangladesh in the world.

As such, I would like to request you to come Bangladesh for a different experience. I will help you as much as possible -snip- Believe, Bangladesh is much different than any other Asian countries.

You can choice Bangladesh for the following reasons :

1. To enjoy the virginity.

To see the real rural life, Bangladesh is the best. There you will find music, dance, plays & other various folk arts that have been handed down for hundreds of years. Its nature, green paddy field, nostalgic pastoral scene and scent of grass, will relax your mind.

2. To enjoy the rivers

Bangladesh is a reverine country. There are big rivers, small rivers, canals & ponds are every where in Bangladesh You will be able to enjoy the river (life also) through passing rivers by boats, Rockets Steamers or Big motor lanchaes.

3. To get great hospitality.

Bangladeshi people are famous for the hospitality. Just come & get experience.

4. To get wild experience.

The Sundarbans are the largest littoral mangrove belt in the world, stretching 80km (50mi) into the Bangladeshi hinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps though, they include some of the last remaining stands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. The Sundarbans cover an area of 38,500 sq km, of which about one-third is covered in water. Since 1966 the Sundarbans have been a wildlife sanctuary, and it is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer in the area.

5. Cox’s Bazar : World’s longest sea beach.

Miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes, delightful sea-food--this is Cox's Bazar, the tourist capital of Bangladesh. Having the world's longest (120 kilometers.) beach sloping gently down to the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal, Cox's Bazar is one of the most attractive tourist sport in the country.

6. St. Martins Island : an island of peace.

This small coral island about 10km (6mi) south-west of the southern tip of the mainland is a tropical cliché, with beaches fringed with coconut palms and bountiful marine life. There's nothing more strenuous to do here than soak up the rays, but it''s a clean and peaceful place without even a mosquito to disrupt your serenity.

7. Kuakata : The lonely beach.

Kuakata, locally known as Sagar Kannya (Daughter of the Sea) is a rare scenic beauty spot on the southernmost tip of Bangladesh. Kuakata in Latachapli union under Kalapara Police Station of Patuakhali district is about 30 km in length and 6 km in breadth. At Kuakata excellent combination of the picturesque natural beauty, sandy beach, blue sky, huge expanse of water of the Bay and evergreen forest in really eye-catching.

About 27 km. from Dhaka, Sonargaon is one of the oldest capitals of Bengal. It was the seat of Deva Dynasty until the 13th century. From then onward till the advent of the Mughals, Sonargaon was subsidiary capital of the Sultanate of Bengal.

9. Tea city Sylhet.

Sylhet is located in a gentle sloping upland valley between the Khasia, Jaintia and Tripura hills, bordering on Assam. Gentle slopes, rich light soil, a congenial climate and abundant rainfall have made Sylhet one of the largest tea-producing areas in the world. These conditions have also provided rich tropical forests where big game - tiger, panther and wild boar - abound. Tribal life is strong and folk dancing, like the famous Manipuri dance, is still performed by the local tribes.

Hi mahmud,

I think a post like this which is more of a promo/comment/tip on a country, rather than a question is best moved to the Bangladesh travel guide.

You can post it directly as a comment on Bangladesh by clicking here.
