What are the best chances, options for a weekend in early March?

What are you looking to do on your trip? Have you been to either of them before?

The weather in New York will be getting a little warmer but still questionable. The weather in Miami should be great. Miami's fun, but I'm a much bigger fan of NYC.

That's a bit optimistic. I lived in New York for two years and the weather in March was generally unpleasant. It starts getting nice in May, or maybe I'm just a weather wimp!

You're right. It is a bit optimistic...NY could get a foot of snow in early March, but you never know it could also be warm and sunny. I used to live in New Hampshire, so maybe my sense of "warmer" is a little skewed.

Glad to help. What are you looking to do while here? party? sightsee? Do a cultural or gastronomic tour? Shop? See a play? a ballgame?

You'll need to offer a little more detail for anyone to offer you much in the way of help.

WELL
I ll be there for 5 days only but i want to go everywhere
do the tours by day and probably in the afternoons, some
lectures, festivals, exhibitions, multicultural events, etc.,
im short in the budget, so i want to make the most out of it

the typical where to go what to see
and if i get there and i start with a guide, that wont work
besides i hate being on the streets with a huge map trying to find my way to places...

thanks
