I am currently in the south caribbean area of Costa Rica. I`ve been here about two months...I settled down here to relax as I have already travelled most of Costa Rica. I am leaving in two weeks to Panama City to spend Christmas with some local friends there and will probably stay in the country for about a month. Afterwards I was planning on volunteering in Tortuguero for about a month and then heading up to Guatemala but I`ve been considering travelling around South America instead to experience something different. Anyways...I basically know nothing about South America except that I won`t be going to Brazil because I don`t have the money for a visa...SO I would appreciate any information on the countries there...Gracias! Ciao.

I would recommend checking into Ecuador. It is similar to Costa Rica for lots of adventure and ecotourism, but it is less expensive. The Mountains in Ecuador are incredible! Copa flies into Quito from Panama.
