Pride & Prejudice! Will go and watch again...
Although many important scenes are purposedly added, it deserves to be one of the favourite this year!
Not everyone could be Mrs. Darcy and it is unusual to find another Mrs. Darcy, aren't we?
My favourite film is "Withnail & I".
I also have a big soft spot for "The Sting" for some reason.
4 Weddings & a Funeral
Waking Ned Devine
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Blazing Saddles! Oh, man, I grew up watching that! Can't believe my parents let us, actually...
Shakespeare in Love (yummy!)
Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn)
The Hunt for Red October (or anything with submarines...Das Boot!)
The new Willie Wonka movie (wasn't sure at first, but LOVED it!)
The Legend of Suryothai
Everytime my mother watches Steel Magnolias, she calls me up bawling, "I was just thinking about you...(sniff, sniff)" Not sure whether to giggle, console, or tell her to go outside and play.
Alright here goes:
The Usual Suspects
Young Guns I&II (the first one is probably my favorite ever)
Dude, Where's my car? (funniest movie ever)
Once upon a time in America (so many stars before they became really big)
Aliens (Game Over!)
A Muppet Christmas Carol
The Life of David Gale
Fallen (what a good story - had me and my friends singing 'Time' by the Rolling Stones for weeks)
Narrowing it done from my little list:
it comes down between The Usual Suspects and Young Guns
I too love the Usual Suspects, Rocky Horror, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, Top Secret, The Deer Hunter, The Matrix, Roman Holiday, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Young Frankenstien, Some Like it Hot....There are just too many to choose from!!!!!
I forgot Silverado and I agree with Big Fish!!
I absolutely love Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?. I've seen it about 5 times, and keep discovering new parallels and symbolism (or maybe I just make it up as I go along?). I ditto Big Fish, plus I'll raise you with Magnolia and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
