I'm a 27yr old guy from Vancouver, Canada. My buddy and I are heading over to Thailand this coming February. Its my first and his second time in the country. Just wanted to lay out our intinerary to possibly get some suggestions, maybe I need to tweak it a bit to make it better.
Or.... if anyone of you are around the same age, up for a party and would like to hook up you can drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
Heres our plan thus far:
Arrive Bangkok Feb 2 7pm, take in the nightlife and do some shopping until Feb 4.
Fly into Phuket Feb 4 in the evening, take in the beaches, do a James Bond Island day trip and possibly a Phi Phi trip and take in the Phuket nightlife until Feb 9 when we fly to Koh Samui.
Feb 9-16. Koh Phangan and the full moon party on the 14th!!!!!
Feb 16 or 17 - 24 Island hopping (Samui, Koh Tao)
Feb 24. back to Bangkok and fly out on the 27th
How does that look???
i think this trip plan looks like one shopping-city and relaxing-holiday-island travel...
If you wanna enjoy all the time by sun and sea,it will be one nice plan because you can meet almost all islands' sights. But if you wanna make one culture trip,it will not be nice...
for me i will not like the plan so much because i think i can enjoy the sunshine and any beauty on any wonderful place, not only in Thailand. So why not doing some extra planning for one exciting and substantial holidays?
Have a good day
Yes you are right! This trip is to party, relax on the beach and do a bit of shopping. I need a break, its been a long time coming! HAHA
When I am older I will make sure I do a more culture oriented trip, venture up north and take in more of the sights, architecture and countryside. There is plenty of time for that later on in life and I thank you for your suggestion!
This trip however is to "have a good time"
so i think you will be happy enough for your trip...all beauty besieds you...
Sounds like a great trip, you will hve a fantastic time!!!If you are planning on heading to the Phi Phi area, I would reccomend if yopu have time to spend a night or two on East Railay which is on the Krabi Peninsula, not far!!!You can get a boat there, its really chilled out, has the amazing Laem Phra Nang Beach which is beautiful and at night time, it comes alive with travellers and locals alike! Its really relaxed and a good laugh!it was my most favourite place I visited!!!!
Also check out Patpong market when you are in Bangkok, I got some real bargains there! It was my best shopping experience of my whole round the world trip!
