Hi everyone! I recently sold everything that I owned, packed up my car and drove West from Louisville, KY. I stayed a week in Hot Springs AR and am now in Santa Fe NM.

Originally, I was thinking it would be cool to stay in each place for a week or so then travel on but this is getting very expensive/exhausting! I work virtually so I am working along the way, therefore, I have to be at a place with high speed and peace and quiet. That kind of rules out the hostels, etc. I've been spending the time I'm not working trying to figure out what the next stop is, get out and see my current dest, take pics, research the area, etc. One week is just not enough for all of this!

There has to be a better way of doing this than staying in hotels! My body needs a kitchen:) I wouldn't mind staying in places a little longer. I found a site called craigslist.org today that pointed me to some places that were sublets with short-term leasing options. Does anyone know of any others like this? I think I need a new job:)

I would like to find a nice warm little town to tuck myself into for the winter and start again when it gets warmer/stays light longer. Since I'm working during the day, I haven't been able to see much during the week. Are you aware of any small town places with high speed Internet??

Thanks for any advice/input you can offer!! This was supposed to be my great adventure and has turned out to be pretty stressful so far:)

Also, it would be neat to meet up with others who will be traveling to NM, AZ, CA, CO. It is certainly nice to meet like minded people along the way. So if you are going to be in these areas, give me a shout!

Jenny
