Well, I know its me who lives in New York, but if anyone has any ideas of which places to check out during Christmas?

Sounds great.. there's a 10 dollar cover though. Which is donated to PCF. PCF stands for Parth Charity Foundation (a non profit organization fighting against my liver cells).

LOL!!!!! I think my liver may be in more dire need then yours - but I'll contribute if you do the cooking!!!

Why not do the usual stuff? 5th avenue to see the window displays, the rink at rockefeller center, a horse ride in the park, etc.?

I did that last year, when I was visiting New York. I live here now so was thinkging of doing something different

Depending on the length of the transit worker's strike - the carraige ride may be your only means of transportation that can get you where you need to go... Cabs will be stuck in the traffic jams. You may have to resort to visiting the nearby neighborhood bar - but those can be fun and interesting during the holidays too.

I always thought Greenwich Village would be fun at Christmas, as I have never been to New York...
